Residency by Investment Program – Greece
As mentioned, Greece does not currently offer a citizenship program. They in turn have a residency by investment program that was launched in 2013. Through this scheme, aspirants can acquire a Greek residency by acquiring a real estate property worth 250,000 EUR or more. The residency permit also bestows upon its holder a “Golden Visa” which allows them to travel to other EU countries for 90 days in between every six months. The Golden Visa once acquired is valid for a time frame of five years and can be renewed “n” number of times.

- Taxes need to be paid for income generated within the country; however, no tax is required to be paid for income generated outside the country
